A circus extraordinary and poetic, born of the prodigious ability to just two, but incommensurable artists. A circus dream, reinvented, where everything takes place in a flowing, apparently without any effort natural and spontaneous as a pastime, a circus of surreal veined, created by two artists who, in the era of virtual effects, fail to enchant with their art made of rags and precision.
Victoria Chaplin and Jean Baptiste Thiérrée are the performers, the fantasists, the magicians, the acrobats, clowns, the musicians of this circus. She, more perfect, dance on the tightrope, he launches into a breathtaking pirouettes with ropes and riding unicorns chairs, turns into a beautiful woman-orchestra, performing an amazing concert for glasses, pans and spoons. Together make animals appear from nowhere and become a little rabbit in a giant rabbit. Aided by props, small pets, portraying love bikes. And when Jean Baptiste Thiérrée does stunts with soap bubbles and then hits them with a hammer and the bubbles sound like bells in celebration, Le cirque invisible shows how the spell can transform the reality of things.
The simplicity and imagination are the basic ingredients of these two artists who run Europe and the world and have created this theatrical genre, the "cirque nouveau", then all that has generated more contemporary phenomena such as Cirque du Soleil. Le Cirque Invisible is the grace and lightness that is of enchantment, in which the public can rediscover a long holiday and share equally with the children. The macchinerie stage with their deliberate simplicity, the animals are ducks and tigers, and magic bags that come from multi-colored objects magically become more familiar but are always there to suggest the possibility of a magical escape from reality. A circus perfect, but only imagined. Apparently made by just two. In reality, created with the complicity of the audience who participate in the creation kidnapped. Believing.
